Purpose of life-1

 

Is there a purpose of life? What does it mean when men of wisdom say there is always a purpose in life? If there is life's purpose, then why do most people while away their life without ever finding a purpose in life? What use living a purpose driven life without a defined purpose?

 

The answer to all the above queries on finding a purpose in life is the most crucial part of life for a human being. The Purpose Driven Life is meant to be lived by living forms which have not yet evolved to the level of human beings. Why?

 

Simply because they are devoid of discriminatory powers to choose a goal in life! The insects, the plants and animals always live a purpose driven life. They simply have no goal in life. They are as they are. They simply have their existence and have to abide by the rules of evolution.

 

Only when the living form reaches the level of a human being does one realize that human life is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic system. The moment a human being realizes that life has a purpose... one seeks the purpose of his life. Without a goal in life, Life seems to be incomplete!

 

As the child grows... one comes to learn that every human being has the potential of becoming a man god like Vardhman Mahavira वर्धमान महावीर, Mahatma Buddha महात्मा बुद्ध, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed. Is that the crux of life! Is gaining salvation the end purpose of life!

 

If that be so... are we required to have a purpose in life linked to salvation as the present goal of life or is it that we can postpone travelling the spiritual path for the next manifestation.

 

The goal and the purpose of life for every human being are gaining enlightenment and finally salvation in the end. That may or may not be the purpose of life in the present manifestation. The purpose of life in the present phase can be best known by hearing the sweet small voice of our soul / atman आत्मा within our heart.

 

The purpose of life in every manifestation is driven by our soul / atman आत्मा within. It is our soul / atman आत्मा that has taken the body and not vice versa. The purpose of life is indirectly dictated by our soul atman within. If our deeds of the present life are not in consonance with the directives of our soul / atman आत्मा within... then heartburning, tensions and stresses become part of daily life.

 

Whatever act provides us complete relief... doing which we find extreme pleasure... something that we enjoy doing must form our goal of life. It is this goal of life pursuing which the purpose of our present life would be fulfilled.

 

It is surprising that almost above 95% people living on Earth, pass their life without ever having a purpose in life. It is almost like taking the routine path. If we are to ever curtail our cosmic journey... we need to find the purpose of our present manifestation. And this goal of life shall be prompted to us by our soul / atman आत्मा within.

 

By being truthful in life we can always hear the sweet small inner voice coming from our heart. This voice of our soul / atman आत्मा within always guides us on the right path. Knowing the exact purpose of this life... half the life's journey is complete.

 

FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) had a fixed purpose in life and that made him one of the most successful presidents USA ever had in spite of his severe handicaps. (FDR lost both of his legs).

 

Madame Curie spent her entire life searching for radium in pitchblende. She was successful in the end but her success was written all over her body. Her body had dismally decayed by the powerful rays of radioactivity which led to her death. She knew what the outcome would be. Her purpose of life was helping the mankind. She had a very noble purpose in life. She succeeded finally!

 

Bill Gates... the architect of the Microsoft Corporation and the developer of famous Windows program also had a fixed purpose in life. His teachers found him academically weak! Fearing he would bring a bad name to the institution... they turned him out of the so called place of wisdom!

 

Destiny willed otherwise! Bill Gates pursued a goal of life dear to his heart. He fiddled with typewriters and gadgets which ultimately led him to develop computer skills which are unparalleled in the history of mankind. His famous Windows program now runs almost every computer in the world.

 

Every success in life demands a neatly defined purpose of life. And this purpose of life must be fixed in the earlier stages of life. Most people keep on postponing fixing the purpose of their life. And when comes the time to depart... they only drop a tear or two in anguish. For none knows what our next manifestation would be!

 

Life as a human being must be lived to the hilt. That decision is to be made by us alone. Our parents, teachers and well-wishers can only act as guides in the journey of life. The purpose of our life is to be fixed by us alone. We just cannot leave things to chance. The time for that may never come.

 

Everything in the cosmos is justly ordered. If Stephen Hawking in his book, "A brief history of time" has expressed that the system of God is disordered at some stage... he is mysteriously wrong. This poor scientist fails to recognize that spirituality starts from the point where science ends. To measure spirituality from the yardstick of science has never been possible and shall never be.

Realizing the absolute truth that everything in the cosmos is justly ordered... why not bring order to our life. We definitely must fix a goal in life and never let ourselves fall into the rut of purpose driven life.

Performance of good karma कर्म is essential

Performance of good karma कर्म is essential for one to live a happy life full of joy and bliss!

Whenever we see a cockroach, a reptile or one who is ugly by all standards are unwanted creatures. Do you ever realize that the life of a human being is but a journey in the vast expanse of the cosmic system? Every human being before reaching the manifest stage of a human being has already lived the life of an insect, a plant and an animal.

Everything we see in the Cosmos was destined and planned by God. Every single entity existing in the Cosmos has its utility... be it an insect, plant, an animal or even the so-called daemonic human beings... the followers of cults and fundamentalists par excellence.

You do a wrong and they would pass a fatwa फतवा... what a noble way of getting rid of someone whom you do not desire or want. Such human beings distort the original teachings of the enlightened ones. They become the self-ordained soldiers of ethics and morality not only in the society they live but also try to dictate and implement their dictum in faraway lands.

We praise the Hindus and reject the Muslims. What did Brahmins ब्राह्मिण practice a last few decades from now? No scheduled caste member of the society was permitted to go near the temples. Was this not high handedness of the Indian priests who considered themselves above all ! Who gave them this right and to what avail !

In the present Kali Yuga कलि-युग phase of society... the same downtrodden denizens of the society have become the rulers. Everything in the cosmic cycle always comes full circle. If we have a day... we also have nights. We have fire... we also have water ! We are happy... we also face sufferings !

None in the society has the power to discard one. As per the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna भगवान् कृष्ण in the battlefield of Mahabharata महाभारत, the sacred Bhagwat Gita भागवत गीता none is to be despised in spite of any handicap. All are children of God. One suffers due to his own folly. If we suffer in present life it is owing to our karma कर्म of the present or the previous lives. None other is to blame.

Prophet Mohammed in his teachings imparted pure Spirituality. He was a truly enlightened soul. He never differentiated between two human beings. One may belong to any religion but for Prophet Mohammed they were all the same.

The difference lies in the teachings and the implementation. It is the implementation of the teachings which has been distorted by vested interests. The enlightened souls are never to be blamed. They have reached the source of all cosmic wisdom. Be it Mahavira महावीर, Gautama Buddha गौतम बुद्ध, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed... they have all reached the end of their cosmic life.

All have reached the kingdom of God (Baikuntha बैकुंठ in Hinduism). The teachings of the enlightened ones are equal for all. There is no reason for despise or rejection.

As of date you shall find that Christians are turning out to be bigger fundamentalists. They want to capture the world. In dropping bombs in Afghanistan and Iraq... they had lost their sense of ethics and morality. The killing of the innocents and civilians by hundreds... was it all a farce! The might of the military of USA enjoyed the killings. How inhuman and barbaric these so-called civilized people of this World have been.

Why blame either God Almighty or the fundamentalist nature of Christianity and Islamic Dharma धर्म . Whatever has been sown... has to be reaped ! There is no escape from the clutches of karma कर्म. We only reap what we sow... Never more or less! Why worry of the future... the present is in our hands!

In the house of God all are children of God. He never differentiates or discriminates. Amongst 7 billion people living on this Earth there is no cause for worry. Every individual entity in the cosmic system always remains individual. Every living being has an atman soul inside. Every human body rather every living being is governed by the atman आत्मा soul inside the body.

What is Shankh शंख (Conch)

A Shankh शंख (conch) is a natural cover/wrapper of an oceanic worm/creature that protect him from the outside attacks/dangers, and when the worm grows up he come out from it and he throw away it forever.

Types of Shankh (Conch) ......

1. Dakshinavarti Shankha (दक्षिणावर्ती शंख): The Shankha शंख that is open from right side is known as “Dakshinavarti Shankha” दक्षिणावर्ती शंख …..!! It is rare, white in colour and contains brown line on it.

2. Vamavarti Shankha (वामावर्ती शंख): It opens from left side that’s why it is called Vamavarti; वामावर्ती it is used in all the religious activities. Astrologers recommend this SHANKHA शंख to remove the negative energy.

There are a lot of more types of SHANKHA शंख but these two are the main types of SHANKHA शंख.

SPRIPTUAL IMPORTANCE :-

SHANKHA शंख is one of the 14 gems (RATNA) रत्न received from churning sea (SAMUNDRA MANTHAN. समुन्द्र मंथन)

SHANKHA’s शंख sound is a symbol of victory in VEDAS वेद

SHANKHA शंख produces the sound of OM ॐ ओम.

श्रीमद् भगवद् गीता अध्याय-1 (15)

पाञ्चजन्यं हृषीकेशो देवदत्तं धनञ्जयः |

पौण्ड्रं दध्मौ महाशङ्खं भीमकर्मा वृकोदरः ||

श्रीकृष्ण महाराज ने पाज्चजन्य नामक, अर्जुन ने देवदत्त नामक और भीमसेन ने पौण्ड्र नामक महाशंख बजाया ।

SHANKHA शंख is produced from SAMUNDRA-MANTHAN समुन्द्र मंथन and God Vishnu accepted SHANKA for his special adornment. So SHANKHA belongs to god Vishnu भगवान विष्णु

SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS:

1. According to Vedic वैदिक science ….. As far as the SHANKHA’s शंख sound goes, it destroys the harmful micro bacteria from the atmosphere or at least makes them unconscious. (Modern science and scientists also accepted the fact)

2. According to ASTROLOGY science, SHANKHA’s शंख sound destroys the negative energy from the atmosphere.

3. Playing SHANKHA शंख regularly is beneficial in respiratory diseases like asthma अस्थमा and lever problems.

Our Universe is made up of five elements - fire, air, water, space and earth. Take away one element and the other four cease to work. That’s not all - a fine balance between all the elements is also necessary for the Universe to function properly.

बातें बिल्व वृक्ष की-

1. बिल्व वृक्ष के आसपास सांप नहीं आते

2. अगर किसी की शव यात्रा बिल्व वृक्ष की छाया से होकर गुजरे तो उसका मोक्ष हो जाता है

3. वायुमंडल में व्याप्त अशुध्दियों को सोखने की क्षमता सबसे ज्यादा बिल्व वृक्ष में होती है

4. चार पांच छः या सात पत्तो वाले बिल्व पत्रक पाने वाला परम भाग्यशाली और शिव को अर्पण करने से अनंत गुना फल मिलता है

5. बेल वृक्ष को काटने से वंश का नाश होता है।और बेल वृक्ष लगाने से वंश की वृद्धि होती है।

6. सुबह शाम बेल वृक्ष के दर्शन मात्र से पापो का नाश होता है।

7. बेल वृक्ष को सींचने से पितर तृप्त होते है।

8. बेल वृक्ष और सफ़ेद आक् को जोड़े से लगाने पर अटूट लक्ष्मी की प्राप्ति होती है।

9. बेल पत्र और ताम्र धातु के एक विशेष प्रयोग से ऋषि मुनि स्वर्ण धातु का उत्पादन करते थे ।

10. जीवन में सिर्फ एक बार और वो भी यदि भूल से भी शिव लिंग पर बेल पत्र चढ़ा दिया हो तो भी उसके सारे पाप मुक्त हो जाते है

11. बेल वृक्ष का रोपण, पोषण और संवर्धन करने से महादेव से साक्षात्कार करने का अवश्य लाभ मिलता है।

शिव पुराण के अनुसार भगवान शिव को कौन सी चीज़ चढाने से मिलता है क्या फल -

किसी भी देवी-देवता का पूजन करते वक़्त उनको अनेक चीज़ें अर्पित की जाती है। प्रायः भगवन को अर्पित की जाने वाली हर चीज़ का फल अलग होता है। शिव पुराण में इस बात का वर्णन मिलता है की भगवन शिव को अर्पित करने वाली अलग-अलग चीज़ों का क्या फल होता है। शिवपुराण के अनुसार जानिए कौन सा अनाज भगवान शिव को चढ़ाने से क्या फल मिलता है:

1. भगवान शिव को चावल चढ़ाने से धन की प्राप्ति होती है।

2. तिल चढ़ाने से पापों का नाश हो जाता है।

3. जौ अर्पित करने से सुख में वृद्धि होती है।

4. गेहूं चढ़ाने से संतान वृद्धि होती है।यह सभी अन्न भगवान को अर्पण करने के बाद गरीबों में वितरीत कर देना चाहिए।

शिव पुराण के अनुसार जानिए भगवान शिव को कौन सा रस (द्रव्य) चढ़ाने से उसका क्या फल मिलता है

1. ज्वर (बुखार) होने पर भगवान शिव को जलधारा चढ़ाने से शीघ्र लाभ मिलता है। सुख व संतान की वृद्धि के लिए भी जलधारा द्वारा शिव की पूजा उत्तम बताई गई है।

2. नपुंसक व्यक्ति अगर शुद्ध घी से भगवान शिव का अभिषेक करे, ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराए तथा सोमवार का व्रत करे तो उसकी समस्या का निदान संभव है।

3. तेज दिमाग के लिए शक्कर मिश्रित दूध भगवान शिव को चढ़ाएं।

4. सुगंधित तेल से भगवान शिव का अभिषेक करने पर समृद्धि में वृद्धि होती है।

5. शिवलिंग पर ईख (गन्ना) का रस चढ़ाया जाए तो सभी आनंदों की प्राप्ति होती है।

6. शिव को गंगाजल चढ़ाने से भोग व मोक्ष दोनों की प्राप्ति होती है।

7. मधु (शहद) से भगवान शिव का अभिषेक करने से राजयक्ष्मा (टीबी) रोग में आराम मिलता है।

शिव पुराण के अनुसार जानिए भगवान शिव को कौन का फूल चढ़ाया जाए तो उसका क्या फल मिलता है

1. लाल व सफेद आंकड़े के फूल से भगवान शिव का पूजन करने

पर भोग व मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।

2. चमेली के फूल से पूजन करने पर वाहन सुख मिलता है।

3. अलसी के फूलों से शिव का पूजन करने से मनुष्य भगवान विष्णु को प्रिय होता है।

4. शमी पत्रों (पत्तों) से पूजन करने पर मोक्ष प्राप्त होता है।

5. बेला के फूल से पूजन करने पर सुंदर व सुशील पत्नी मिलती है।

6. जूही के फूल से शिव का पूजन करें तो घर में कभी अन्न की कमी नहीं होती।

7. कनेर के फूलों से शिव पूजन करने से नए वस्त्र मिलते हैं।

8. हरसिंगार के फूलों से पूजन करने पर सुख-सम्पत्ति में वृद्धि होती है।

9. धतूरे के फूल से पूजन करने पर भगवान शंकर सुयोग्य पुत्र प्रदान करते हैं, जो कुल का नाम रोशन करता है।

10. लाल डंठलवाला धतूरा पूजन में शुभ माना गया है।

11. दूर्वा से पूजन करने पर आयु बढ़ती है।
